How did you get in touch with fashion?

I have loved fashion and clothing since I was a little girl, and imagined when I could grow up and start wearing all the clothes I wanted and could buy. But it was not until I was around 17 that I really started to care more about fashion. Clothings makes me happy, and I love to combine cheap and expensive clothes together.

Why do you have a fashion blog and for how long for?

I am not sure if my blog is a fashion blog, but I do share my outfits with my readers very often, and also share things about fashion. I think it’s the part they like the most actually! I made a blog at a time when blogging was very popular in Norway, but deleted it after a while. Now I have blogged at www.zhyaan.blogg.no for almost a year. I blog mostly because I love taking pictures and share it with my blog, and because I get many responses from girls who say I inspire them.

What are your favourite blogs?

My all time favourite bloggers are ulrikkelund.com and fotballfrue.no. The last one is written by Caroline Berg, a Norwegian girl. She takes very beautiful pictures, and is an inspiration when it comes to a healthy lifestyle.

What do you do in your “real” life?

I study to become a Social Worker, and can’t wait to actually be a Social worker in June this year so I can start working with helping people who are in a difficult situation in their lives. Or else, I love spending time with my family, which means everything to me. I also LOVE reading, even though I don’t have so much time for it because of my student life.

Do you have a favorite designer(s) or fashion icons?

I don’t have any favourite designer, but I do have a favorite fashion icon! She is the one and only Olivia Palermo, I totally love her style, and she inspires me a lot.

Would you like to say anything else concerning your blog or in general?

My blog is not just a blog about fashion, I also share some of my daily life with my readers, and also write about more important things, like different topics, politics and also about my homeland Kurdistan.

How did you get in touch with fashion?

The three of us always have been dedicated about fashion. Already as little girls we all wanted to become successful fashion designers for living. Our dream to enter the fashion scene is more real than ever. The three of us got to meet eachother a year ago during our fashion management studies in Hamburg. You could tell from the first day that we get along very well and that we would make a great team.

Why do you have a fashion blog and for how long for?

We noticed right away our passion for fashion and we fell in love with eachothers style.

Since we all figured out, that we all always wanted to have our own fashionblog, we questioned ourselves ‘Why don’t we do a fashion blog together?!’ That is how ‘Shoppisticated’ arosed. Shoppisticated was founded on the 24th of September 2012 and is developing very well so far.

The main reason why we decided to do our own fashionblog is because we are addicted to fashion, the latest trends and inspiring fashion bloggers. We love the idea of exchanging inspirations with people all over the world and to get in contact with people, who have the same addiction to fashion as we do.

What are your favourite blogs?

Our favorite blogs are of course “The blonde Salad” by the amazing Chiara Ferragni, “The Style Scrapbook” by Andy Torres, “The native fox” by Jennifer Grace. Those bloggers are more like fashion blogger idols for us. We love their style and admire their success. But for us it is also very interesting to follow German fashion bloggers, such as “Fashionhippieloves”, “sturbock” and “Teeth are Jade”.

What do you do in your “real” life?

In “real” life we all study fashion management in Hamburg and also spent a lot of time together in our free time. Furthermore we all have jobs, which take some time. We love to meet up with friends, do sports, take some nice pictures for our blog and of course we loooove to go shopping. When we have the time, we travel a lot to all those special places in Europe and the rest of the world.

Do you have a favorite designer(s) or fashion icons?

Well, our favorite fashion designer over all was the one and only Alexander McQueen. This man was more like an artist and so talented. Every single piece of him was a masterpiece. It is always a pleasure to just look at his work and to get inspired by the beauty of his fashion.

He will always be our favorite fashion designer by far.

Would you like to say anything else concerning your blog or in general?

With Shoppisticated we want to live our own dream of fashion. We write about our own style of fashion, the latest trends, do it yourself projects, nail -and hairstyles, as well as about young fashiondesigners and fashion labels, simply things, which awaken our interest. Every one of us has her different and own style and that is what makes us maybe different than other fashion blogs. We are a group of three young girls who would love to share our ideas and our passion for fashion with you.

How did you get in touch with fashion?

I’ve always loved to stand up in the crowd and wear just whatever I feel like. Slowly it started to be one of my greatest hobbies and now I love being busy with fashion related issues.

Why do you have a fashion blog and for how long for?

I’ve always loved to give my opinion about fashion, this page I created three months ago makes it possible to share this with others. Its fun to see how other people think about fashion related issues and let people discuss about sertain topics.

Carla lives in Barcelona, Spain, and she has been with us for about 5 months now! Her outfits shine out, not only because own her unique styling, but also due to the applied photography skills. Her outfit stream counts 25 outfits down to the present day and honestly, we are hoping for many more!

How did you get in touch with fashion?

Definitely from my aunt! my weekends were usually spent at her house, I loved going there because she always let me play dress up with all her fabulous clothing modern and vintage (back then) but most important I could always wear her super high stilettos. She also thought me the hows to hair and skin care and reminded me that a woman should always look her best.
One last useful tool; she taught me how to use a sewing machine and while she worked on making something pretty for herself I sat next to her cruised through her stack of Fashion magazines. Her sense for elegant and feminine clothing as well as care for hair and makeup were for sure a great start in fashion for me.

Why do you have a fashion blog and for how long for?

My Blogging dates back from late 2010 however it was focus on my jewelry line only at the time. It then became a space for me to share my personal style but I must admit it took me a while to gather courage and start posting pictures of myself, being a private person and why not a little shy it was a process. Now I cannot wait to upload posts and hopefully inspire others with my outfits. My style is a no brainer really however I wear what I love and follow my instincts when pulling a look together.

What are your favorite blogs?

This list could be to long so I will summarize my daily dose: Macademian Girl, It´s not that deep, Lust for Life, Atlantic Pacific, Late Afternoon.

What do you do in your “real” life?

My degree is in Fine Arts back in New York I dedicated my self to art related work only however since we moved to Barcelona my working situation has changed from PA, to HR Assistant Manager to IT Assistant.
Don’t ask, I am self-taught and curious about many things and it has worked to my advantage.

Do you have a favorite designer(s) or fashion icons?

I like garments and accessories from here and there so it´s hard to just pick one designer but I do incline more towards designers such as YSL, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood and Ralph Lauren.

Fashion icons; without a doubt I love the Olsen Twins style I have seen them a few times in NYC and I was surprise to see how tiny they are and how well they can pull together almost anything they wear. This is what I like about them, they are not afraid to experiment and know exactly what works best for them and in many cases pushing the boundaries of fashion.

Would you like to say anything else concerning your blog or in general?

Blogging is a constant learning process no matter how long you have been doing it so for me -I rather take small steps in the growth of my blog, I post content that I really enjoy working on and not just for the sake of it. Staying true to my style is very important and it´s awesome to know people like my Blog and take the time to follow and leave their comments, this totally makes my day and assures me I am going on the right direction so thank you!

1. How did you get in touch with fashion?

I have always been passionate about fashion and art, but I also get in touch with fashion through my sister, because she also have her own blog since two years. Social media platforms such as Blogger, Chictopia, Lookbook or even print magazines made me realize that styles from real people become very important to the fashion industry. The internet is a great source of inspiration.
I created N°93 my own style blog in July 2012. I already had a Tumblr and I’ve published my looks on Lookbook.nu from time to time, but now I have finally my own Blogger Account.
My sister Sylvia Haghjoo, who is a really talented photographer and also a blogger of hug-you.com , helped me in starting my blog. I’m really happy to work with her!

2. What do you have a fashion blog and for how long?

My blog N°93 is a personal fashion diary of my own looks. Since I know that blogging is a lot of work through my sister, I became really passionate about my own.

3. What are your favorite blogs?

I absolutely love the blog kayture.com by Kristina Bazan, theblondesalad.com by Chiara Ferragni and hug-you.com by Sylvia Haghjoo !

4. What do you do in your “real” life?

What I’m doing when I’m not busy with blogging? Well, I’m going to school, I’m trying to spent a lot of time with my family and friends, doing sport, taking photos and other stuff. In my opinion it’s important to do what makes you happy, it’s the key for happiness!

5. Do you have a favourite designer(s) or fashion icons?

I really have more than one favourite designer. There are to many, but for now I am in love with my all time favourites Chanel, Vera Wang and Roberto Cavalli. I am a huge fan of American, French and Italian fashion. Always chic and elegant.
About fashion icons, well, I also get inspiration from other fashion bloggers. At the moment I am totally impressed by Kristina Bazan. Her style is timeless and she has so much class!
