Its nice to come back home after a long stay away time… Not just to see your family and old friends.
Its even nicer when finally your little town, that always stays the same, when this old construction is changing a little bit in a positive way.
I found a positive move like that when I came back to Baden, Switzerland, my hometown, from Amsterdam during this summer.
I can almost say that I found a new birdnest.. a good one and cosy one. Its called FRAU MEISE and it is a cafe which welcomes you with a -”come sit down, feel pretty and at home”- feeling.
There are flowers everywhere, wallpapers with birds on it and sky images.
You can eat breakfast in 3 bird-versions from the small sparrow-breakfast to the swan breakfast with prosecco for two person.
Or you can just drink a nice housemade syrup with names like a a Fairy-Drink or the Flower-Drink…
While you sip on your MagicFairyTale- Drink and eat a pink cupcake you can have a look at the lovely dresses or hairbands or jewellery that Frau Meise is selling in the back…
Aaah and please if you ever come to Baden and will go there ..you should not forget to go to the toilet..Its a skyblue toilet with pictures, cremes, parfumes, candies everywhere and for sure you should write your Fall-In -Love story in her guestbook.
Thank you Frau Meise for sweeten my back home trip… I already look foreward to visit you again when Im back around Christmas.
