With the arrival of those two brands, both clients of Yue Yuen, the biggest shoe producer on the planet, the competition began. Brands like Lakai, DC Shoes, ÉS Footwear, DVS Shoes, Emerica, Etnies, etc. have to stand against the giants that have a lot of experience and of course, they produce in much higher quantities than the traditional skateboard companies. Apart from that, you can say that, between the two, a battle has started. Their teams contain some of the best skaters worldwide, they travel a lot, film at spots all over the world and every month, they bring out new models or new colorways.
