Topshop vs. Asos

Asos is a marketplace where people can recycle their wardrobe, as Ebay for example, one can sell new and used products. Essentially there nothing wrong with that, but Sir Philip Green, the Topshop owner, is not quite happy with this procedure. Why? Because Topshop products are sold on the website and there is no agreement in between the two fashion houses and there never will be, as Topshop has their own online store. Green told a British newspaper that Asos misrepresents Topshop, as used, but also new products are sold, and this manner could possibly damage the image of the registered trademark. Nick Robertson, the CEO of Asos, responded to Green’s statement as the following:
